Frequently Asked Questions

The booking process

Everything is coordinated in advance through the application form on this site. Once I review your idea and confirm I’m the right artist for you, I’ll send you the details for your city: the studio address, the session date, and the deposit instructions. Everything is handled remotely before we meet in person.

As early as possible. Guest spots in each city have a fixed number of available days and slots fill up fast. On top of that, custom pieces require extra design time. Apply as soon as you can.

I personally review every application within 72 business hours. If I believe I’m the right artist to give you the best possible result, I’ll reach out by email to discuss the concept and next steps. If I feel I’m not the one who can give you what you’re looking for, I’ll let you know too — nothing goes unanswered.

Deposit

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your spot, and it’s deducted from the total session cost. It secures your date and covers the design work I do before the session. The amount is communicated during the booking process.

No. The remaining balance is paid in full at the start of the session, in cash or via the agreed payment method.

Design and style

Both — and ideally, a mix. I want to understand your concept, your references, and what the piece means to you. But the final design is always mine: I adapt your vision into my visual language. If you need an exact reproduction of a reference, I’m probably not the right artist for you.

Dark surrealism and graphic blackwork — fragmented forms, strong contrast, symbolism. I work in black ink and on some pieces I incorporate magenta as an accent color. I also play with watercolor and more abstract styles, as well as concept and fine line work. I love experimenting, so if the project is interesting, I’ll probably want in! 🙂

Yes. For custom pieces I first share a structural sketch — if we’re aligned on that, I’ll send the full design before the session so you can give feedback. Minor adjustments are included; major concept changes after the design is finished that require a full redo may mean rescheduling the session or an additional fee.

No problem. Fill in the form with whatever you have — a mood, an image, a concept, even just words. I can work from vague starting points. What matters is that you trust the direction I take it.

Guest spots and logistics

Every guest spot is held at a professional tattoo studio. I share the exact address once your booking is confirmed. All the studios I work with are clean and professional environments.

Come well-rested, well-fed, and hydrated. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area we’re tattooing. Bring a valid ID. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before the session — and maybe pack a snack for the day if it’s a long one.

It rarely happens, but if a guest spot falls through on my end, I’ll notify you immediately and we’ll work to reschedule at the next available date in your city or a nearby one. Your deposit is held and applied to the new date — it’s not lost.

Yes. Many of my clients travel specifically to see me during a guest spot. If you’re traveling, I recommend confirming your booking and deposit before reserving flights or a hotel.
